The Sales Specialist is responsible for supporting the Sales team in achieving sales targets. The candidate will play a key role in initiating and maintaining excellent client relationships while constantly seeking new business opportunities. This position requires a proactive approach to sales and customer management, ensuring that all objectives are met with a high level of professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute the sales department strategy and achieve sales growth by acquiring new customers and maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met and business objectives are aligned.
  • Achieve sales targets in line with the overall financial objectives of the company.
  • Continuously seek new opportunities for business growth and expansion.
  • Provide the Sales Manager with insights on future market trends and customer needs.
  • Contact potential clients and schedule sales visits to build and strengthen relationships.
  • Consolidate and present proposals, as well as undertake pre-sales activities to support the sales process.
  • Assist the Sales Manager in meetings, events, and other sales-related initiatives.
  • Keep the sales pipeline consistently updated, tracking each opportunity through its lifecycle.
  • Close sales and follow up on every opportunity to ensure completion.
  • Provide regular competitor analysis and benchmarks to the Sales Manager.
  • Handle client feedback and complaints, ensuring customer satisfaction and addressing any concerns effectively.
  • Coordinate payment collections with the Finance and Collections teams to ensure smooth transactions.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the line manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably with a specialization in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Logistics, or Sales).
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the logistics field.
  • Strong background in Last Mile Logistics and IT.
  • Strong understanding of client needs and market dynamics.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
  • Exceptional closing skills with a proven track record.
  • Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
