Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Specialist at ShopChat, you will play a critical role in growing our seller network:
Seller Acquisition & Growth
- Identify, contact, and onboard new sellers and suppliers (local UAE sellers and businesses)
- Present ShopChat’s value proposition and marketplace benefits clearly
- Build and maintain strong relationships with sellers
- Convince suppliers to list their products and actively sell on the platform
Sales & Outreach
- Conduct outbound sales via phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and meetings
- Follow up with potential sellers and close onboarding deals
- Achieve monthly seller acquisition and activation targets
- Represent ShopChat professionally in meetings and business discussions
System & Dashboard Usage
- Assist sellers with registration, verification, and dashboard usage
- Guide sellers on product listing, pricing, stock management, and order flow
- Coordinate with internal teams (support, operations, tech) when needed
- Maintain accurate seller records and sales reports in the system
Market Feedback
- Gather feedback from sellers regarding platform improvements
- Share insights with management to improve seller experience and conversion
RequirementsProfessional Requirements
- Proven experience in Sales, Business Development, or Account Management
- Experience in marketplace, e-commerce, B2B sales, or supplier acquisition is a strong advantage
- Strong communication skills in Arabic & English
- Comfortable with phone-based sales and relationship-driven selling
- Ability to understand and work with digital systems and dashboards

- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
- Confident, results-driven, and target-oriented
- Excellent follow-up and time management
- Professional attitude with sellers and partners
- Fast learner and adaptable to a growing startup environment
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma (any field)
- Minimum 1–3 years of sales experience
- UAE market experience preferred
