Job Summary
The Sales Supervisor oversees daily sales operations and leads a team of sales associates to meet and exceed performance goals. This role focuses on motivating the team, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining smooth store or department operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and support sales staff during daily operations
- Set sales targets and monitor individual and team performance
- Train, coach, and motivate team members to improve sales skills
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and resolve issues when needed
- Assist with scheduling, task assignments, and shift coverage
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management on restocking
- Prepare sales reports and provide feedback to management
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and standards
- Promote sales via social media platforms.
- Generate leads.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (associate’s or bachelor’s degree is a plus)
- Previous experience in sales or retail; supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with sales systems
