Overview Of The Role:

  • The Supervisor plays a key role in coordinating and overseeing the effective management of the shop floor, ensuring the seamless operation from selling ceremonies to floor operations. This role bridges sales staff with store management, driving client and business development while maintaining optimal store presentation standards. Success in this role requires excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, all aimed at delivering superior customer experiences and achieving sales targets.

What You Will Do:

Client and Business Development

  • Support the team in building long-term client relationships using clienteling tools.
  • Enhance the 'client state of mind' among the team.
  • Ensure the team has extensive product knowledge.
  • Support store management in achieving business objectives, projects, and initiatives, including reporting, sales analysis, and product training.

Selling & Floor Management

  • Oversee shop floor for maximum coverage during peak trading periods.
  • Act as a role model demonstrating sales leadership.
  • Intervene and support during selling ceremonies.

Operations

  • Perform and supervise store opening and closing procedures, including counting register funds, making bank deposits, opening and closing registers, and securing the facility.
  • Accurately process all POS transactions and inventory functions to maintain inventory integrity, including transfers, receiving, repairs, and damage handling.
  • Adhere to loss prevention policies and operational procedures.

Leadership presence

  • Exemplary performance across all functions.
  • Effectively resolve customer complaints, exchanges, and inquiries.
  • Serve as a liaison between staff and management regarding performance concerns.
  • Propose and implement action plans for efficient store processes and organization.
  • Educate the team on sales plans, personal sales goals, and KPIs.

Others

  • Be an ambassador of the brand, culture, quality, and know-how.
  • Ensure store presentation standards are achieved and maintained.

Required Skills To Be Successful:

  • Retail operational skills including stock management, cash handling, and systems.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
  • Leadership and proactive problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

What Qualifies You For The Role:

  • High school degree or equivalent preferred.
  • 2-3 years of experience in retail or hospitality industry.
  • Good knowledge of the fashion/beauty industry and trends.
  • Retail operational skills including stock management, visual merchandising, systems, and cash handling.
  • Customer service and results-oriented mindset.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent relationship skills and ability to build trust.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and take initiatives.
  • Proactive with good team spirit.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Computer skills and an ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
