Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Sales Support Admin to join our team. This role is essential in providing administrative assistance to our sales department, ensuring smooth communication between clients and sales representatives. PRIMARY PURPOSE
- Handle incoming inquiries from customers concerning all aspects of accounts including quoting, quality, delivery and service.
- Supports Sales Department with objective to gain and grow profitable business.
- Assist all tracking of quotes and follow up on pending quotes
- Any administrative duties required
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process all RFQ’s for commercial and service automotive
- Track all RFQ’s with assistance from team, when necessary
- Maintain and analyze quote log and develop process to follow up on pending RFQ’s as well as documenting success rate.
- Assist in preparation PowerPoint presentation for monthly MTM
- Prepare charts and graphs from raw data for internal and customer use.
- Process new customer paperwork for finance and production control
- Hard file creation for each customer and maintain documentation to IATF standards
- Assist in production control production order (job) auditing when necessary
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all Aluminum Blanking Employee Conduct and Work Rules; comply with all policies contained in the Employee Handbook.
QUALITY AND ENVIRONMENTAL CORE RESPONSIBILTIES AND AUTHORITY
- General QS awareness, communication and emergency preparedness.
- Familiarity with company Quality and Environmental policies and significant environmental impact of any work activities.
- Participation in preventative actions efforts when appropriate.
- Support company continuous improvement activities as required.
- Develop priorities and drive actions that provide prompt solutions to customer issues
- Analyze customer requirements based upon customer inquiries.
- Report any product that is lost, damaged or unsuitable for use by customer.
- Participate in Sales L10 weekly meeting and engage in helping solve new issues, complete SMART goals defined for rocks, and complete to-do’s as assigned in timely manner.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum of Associates degree in General Business or equivalent experience.
- Reliable and self-motivated with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- One to three years experience in sales or marketing, preferably in metal industry with manufacturing background. (preferred not required)
- Ability to apply mathematical operations to such tasks as appropriate to sales quote summary and response, or sales log maintenance.
- Working knowledge and proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, Teams and Powerpoint.
- Ability to function and contribute in a team-based environment
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Attention to detail, organized, and shows good initiative
- Ability to read and comprehend basic concepts presented in job-related scientific and technical journals, financial reports and legal documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies or members of the business community.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet. Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
