Sales Support-Mechanical

. Sales & Technical Support

• Assist sales engineers by preparing technical & commercial quotations based on client RFQs.
• Review RFQs, datasheets, BOMs, and project specifications to extract required product details.
• Support in selecting suitable mechanical products: flanges, fittings, gaskets, valves, cladding materials, piping items, etc.
• Coordinate with manufacturers/vendors for prices, lead times, and technical clarifications.
• Ensure all offers are compliant with client requirements, codes, and standards (ASME, ASTM, API).

B. Client Coordination

• Communicate with clients to clarify inquiries, delivery schedules, project requirements, and technical details.
• Follow up on submitted quotations and update sales tracker.
• Assist in resolving client issues related to pricing, delivery, or documentation.

C. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain accurate records of RFQs, quotations, purchase orders, LPOs, invoices, and delivery notes.
• Prepare sales reports, inquiry status reports, and pipeline dashboards.
• Support tender documentation when required.

D. Order Processing & Logistics

• Process sales orders, prepare sales contracts, and coordinate internal approvals.
• Liaise with procurement, logistics, warehouse, and finance to ensure smooth order execution.
• Track shipment status and ensure timely delivery to clients.

E. Product Knowledge

• Maintain updated knowledge of mechanical products such as:
• Flanges (Slip-on, Weld Neck, Blind, RTJ, etc.)
• Pipe Fittings (Elbows, Tees, Reducers, Caps)
• Valves (Gate, Globe, Ball, Butterfly, Check)
• Pipes & Tubes (Carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel)
• Cladding materials & special alloys
• Gaskets & Sealing Solutions
• Industrial chemicals
• Understand oil & gas project specifications and vendor lists (ADNOC, etc.).

Language:
