Ocoda agency is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Team Leader to spearhead our growth strategy within the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) market. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record of success in sales and business development, specifically within a marketing, advertising, or digital agency environment. This role requires deep knowledge of the GCC market's business landscape, key industries, and cultural nuances.

Responsibilities:

1. Sales Strategy and Planning:
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies and plans geared towards achieving targets in the GCC market.
  • Identify new business opportunities and potential growth sectors within the GCC.
  • Prepare accurate sales forecasts and regular performance reports.
2. Sales Team Management:
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed individual and collective goals.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) for the team and monitor their progress.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
3. Business Development and Relationship Management:
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts and stakeholders in the GCC market.
  • Lead major contract negotiations and close significant deals.
  • Deeply understand the specific needs and requirements of GCC clients and tailor offerings accordingly.
4. Market Expertise:
  • Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activities in GCC to ensure our strategies remain competitive.
  • Use GCC market knowledge to identify challenges and potential roadblocks, developing plans to overcome them.



Requirements

  • Minimum of [5-7 years] of progressive experience in Sales, with at least [ 2-3 years] in a Sales Management or leadership role.
  • Direct and proven work experience within the GCC market is essential.
  • Prior experience working with and coordinating efforts with Marketing Agencies to achieve combined sales and marketing objectives.
  • A verifiable track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to inspire and manage a high-performance team.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (ZOHO).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred).
