Position OverviewGirls Group is seeking a part-time Salesforce Administrator to serve as the internal point person for our transition from Google Sheets to Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud and to support ongoing system administration after implementation.

This role begins with a significant, detail-intensive data phase. The Salesforce Administrator will spend a substantial portion of the initial months reviewing, cleaning, organizing, and standardizing large volumes of data across multiple spreadsheets. This work is highly manual and requires sustained attention to detail, consistency, and accuracy. Success in this role depends on someone who is comfortable with repetitive, process-driven tasks and understands that this upfront work is critical to building a strong, reliable system. This is not a purely strategic role—hands-on data work will be a core part of the early experience.

This role is ideal for someone who is both strategic and hands-on: a professional who can help translate nonprofit processes into a well-structured CRM, partner effectively with an external consultant, and ensure Salesforce becomes a practical tool for program operations, reporting, and organizational decision-making. The Salesforce Administrator will play a central role in implementation, data migration support, user adoption, process improvement, and long-term CRM stewardship.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as Girls Group’s internal lead and day-to-day owner for Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud
  • Partner with the implementation consultant to support configuration, rollout, testing, and adoption
  • Help map current workflows from Google Sheets and other systems into scalable Salesforce processesSupport data cleanup, data import, validation, deduplication, and governance
  • Configure and maintain objects, fields, page layouts, reports, dashboards, automations, and user permissions
  • Document system processes, business rules, naming conventions, and admin procedures
  • Train and support staff users across programs, development, and operations
  • Troubleshoot user issues and improve usability over time
  • Build reports and dashboards that support fundraising, participant/program tracking, and leadership reporting
  • Recommend best practices for ongoing CRM management, data quality, and cross-team use of Salesforce
  • Act as the primary internal liaison for future enhancements and system priorities

Qualifications

  • Required: Salesforce Administrator certification and Salesforce Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant (NPC)
  • Strong experience administering Salesforce in a nonprofit environment
  • Experience supporting or leading Salesforce implementations, migrations, or major CRM transitions
  • Working knowledge of nonprofit data models, stakeholder management, and program/service delivery tracking
  • Demonstrated ability to translate organizational needs into practical Salesforce solutions
  • Experience with data imports, deduplication, reporting, dashboards, and user training
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with non-technical staff
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable in a remote, part-time role

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with nonprofit program management, case management, and outcomes tracking in Salesforce
  • Experience working with small to mid-sized nonprofits
  • Familiarity with change management and CRM adoption planning
  • Experience supporting organizations moving from spreadsheets or low-structure systems into Salesforce
