About the Role
The Salesforce Administrator, Marketing Cloud will serve as a senior platform specialist responsible for the strategic development, administration, and optimization of our Litify-based Salesforce ecosystem, with a dedicated focus on Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud capabilities. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to unify client data, drive sophisticated marketing automation, and enhance our data architecture—while supporting and mentoring a team serving 200+ users. This is a high-impact role with significant visibility and the opportunity to shape how the firm leverages Salesforce’s most advanced cloud products.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the configuration, management, and optimization of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Content Builder.
- Lead the implementation and administration of Salesforce Data Cloud, including data model design, identity resolution, segmentation, and activation strategies. Architect data integration pipelines between Data Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and the core Litify environment to create unified client profiles.
- Design and execute multi-channel marketing journeys and automated campaigns, ensuring deliverability, compliance, and performance.
- Serve as a senior administrator of the Litify Salesforce environment, ensuring scalability, stability, security, and user accessibility across the platform.
- Oversee daily administrative operations including user provisioning, permission sets, role hierarchy management, report/dashboard development, Flow troubleshooting, and user support ticket resolution.
- Lead the evaluation of declarative vs. programmatic solutions, establish standards for Salesforce Flow and automation, and conduct regular system audits to maintain data integrity and security compliance.
- Drive platform optimization initiatives, including third-party integrations (telephony, workflow tools, marketing platforms) and the exploration of AI-powered enhancements.
- Lead the preparation, testing, and execution of Salesforce releases while maintaining comprehensive documentation and championing best practices across system governance.
- Serve as a trusted internal advisor on Salesforce platform capabilities, mentoring junior team members and guiding the organization on strategic platform improvements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on Salesforce administration and/or development experience in a production environment.
- Salesforce Administrator certification required.
- Demonstrated experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio) in a professional capacity.
- Working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud concepts including data modeling, identity resolution, and segmentation.
- Experience with Litify or Salesforce Service Cloud strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to manage complex, multi-workstream projects and balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic, proactive mindset toward continuous improvement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to train and mentor users at all levels of technical proficiency.
- Highly detail-oriented with a strong commitment to security, data hygiene, documentation, and platform governance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Marketing Cloud Email Specialist, Marketing Cloud Administrator, or Data Cloud Consultant certification.
- Additional Salesforce certifications (e.g., Advanced Administrator, Platform App Builder).
- Experience with AMPscript, SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript), or Salesforce CDP within Marketing Cloud.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, CAN-SPAM) and their application within marketing platforms.
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools, CI/CD pipelines, or release management platforms (e.g., Gearset, Copado).
- Background in the legal industry or professional services environment.
Compensation
- Salary Range: $130,000 – $150,000, depending on experience.
