Salesforce Developer
Purpose of the Job
The Salesforce Developer is accountable for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of Coptic Orphans' technology solutions, with a primary focus on the Salesforce CRM platform.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities

Analyze, design, develop, and implement effective and reliable solutions within the Salesforce platform. Ensure that system functionality supports departmental needs while following established development standards and delivering work with accuracy and efficiency.

Ensure Salesforce functionality satisfies all organizational departmental needs.

Provide second-level technical support for system issues and inquiries; troubleshoot and resolve problems in coordination with internal teams and external vendors.

Implement requested design modifications and changes to existing system functionalities.

Conduct testing to ensure system stability and application performance.

Monitor system health and proactively identify performance or data consistency issues.

Maintain detailed oversight of the system architecture and design compatibility.

Support continuous improvement of application design and enforce best practices.

Maintain high availability and optimal performance of mission-critical systems.
Required Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field.

1-3 years of relevant professional experience.

Proficient in English, both written and spoken.

Basic understanding of Salesforce development principles (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, SOQL).

Familiarity with Salesforce Sales Cloud and/or Service Cloud is a plus.

Foundational experience in database development and object-oriented programming (Java or JavaScript preferred).

Good understanding of data analysis and visualization concepts.

Good problem-solving and time-management skills.

Good attention to detail and ability to follow established development standards.

Willingness to learn new technologies and apply best practices in system development.

Ability to work with internal stakeholders and external vendors to support project success.
Travel and Working requirements

Typical office environment limited to walking, sitting, typing, using office equipment.

Occasional travel, nationally or internationally, is expected.
