Position Title: Salesforce Developer
Reports to: CTO
Position Objective: NREIG is committed to delivering innovative insurance solutions for real estate investors. We’re seeking a talented Salesforce Developer to help us optimize and scale our business operations.
As a Salesforce Developer at NREIG, you’ll play a key role in transforming our Salesforce ecosystem to support scalable, secure, and efficient business operations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain custom Salesforce applications tailored to our unique needs. The ideal candidate has a strong background in developing and customizing Salesforce applications, as well as experience in designing and implementing complex solutions.
Essential Functions
- Review the current Salesforce environment to determine the best course of action for a path forward.
- Create custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications.
- Participate in the entire software development life cycle (SDLC), including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, and deployment.
- Support, maintain, and improve the functionality of existing Salesforce applications.
- Create and maintain integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders and other developers to identify and implement system improvements.
- Ensure compliance with Salesforce security and development standards.
- Evaluate the current Salesforce implementation against HubSpot capabilities to determine if a migration would better support business goals.
- Regular and predictable attendance.

Basic Qualifications
- Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce, and other technologies.
- Create technical documentation such as user guides, release notes, and design documents.
- Work collaboratively with technical and business teams to collect and document requirements for Salesforce solutions.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues related to Salesforce integrations and applications.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure best practices are implemented in Salesforce solutions.
- Stay updated with new Salesforce features and recommend enhancements to existing implementations.
- Conduct comparative analysis between Salesforce and HubSpot platforms, including data architecture, integration capabilities, and scalability.
Required Education and Experience
- 3–5 years of demonstrable experience in Salesforce development.
- Proficient understanding of Salesforce administration, including Lightning framework, Service Cloud, and Marketing Cloud.
- Knowledge of Apex, Visualforce, and other Salesforce development technologies.
- Knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (MCAE).
- Understanding of Salesforce data model, including standard and custom objects, relationships, and fields.
- Understanding of Salesforce Shield for mitigating threats and monitoring performance.
- Working knowledge of HubSpot CRM, including its automation, marketing, and integration features.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Salesforce certifications such as Platform Developer I or II, App Builder, or Administrator.
- Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
- Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
- Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
- Experience in CRM migration projects or platform evaluations involving Salesforce and HubSpot.
