What You Can Expect

The Salesforce Senior Development Analyst is a senior technical contributor responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and supporting Salesforce solutions that enable core business processes across Sales, Service, Marketing, and other enterprise functions. This role provides deep Salesforce platform expertise, leads complex development efforts, and serves as an escalation point while partnering closely with Business Systems Analysts, Architects, and cross-functional IT teams.
The role focuses on solution quality, scalability, and platform optimization and operates without direct people-management responsibility.

How You'll Create Impact

Salesforce Solution Design & Development

• Design, develop, and enhance Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and declarative tools
• Build and maintain complex Salesforce configurations including custom objects, flows, validation rules, and approval processes
• Produce technical designs and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and Salesforce best practices

Integration & Data Enablement

• Develop and support integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Salesforce Connect, and middleware platforms
• Partner with integration and data teams to ensure secure, reliable data flows between Salesforce and enterprise systems
• Support data migration, data quality, and master data initiatives

Quality, Testing & Production Support

• Lead unit testing and support system testing, UAT, and deployment activities
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex Salesforce defects and production incidents
• Perform root-cause analysis and implement long-term corrective solutions

Platform Optimization & Governance

• Optimize Salesforce performance, scalability, and security
• Support release management, CI/CD pipelines, and environment coordination
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data protection, and change management standards

Collaboration & Mentorship

• Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Architects to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Provide technical guidance and informal mentoring to junior Salesforce developers
• Contribute to development standards, documentation, and best practices

What Makes You Stand Out

Preferred Qualifications

• 8+ years total Salesforce experience
• Experience in regulated or SOX-controlled environments
• Experience supporting large user bases and multi-org strategies
• Salesforce certifications (e.g., Platform Developer I/II, Advanced Administrator)
• Experience working in Agile or hybrid delivery models

• Salesforce declarative tools (Flows, Process Builder, Approval Processes)

Integration & Data

• Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events
• Middleware platforms (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Informatica)
• Data Loader, ETL tools, and data quality practices

DevOps & Lifecycle Management

• Salesforce DX (SFDX)
• CI/CD tools (Git, GitHub/GitLab, Azure DevOps)
• Sandbox strategy and release management

Security & Compliance

• Salesforce security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules)
• Identity and SSO integration (SAML, OAuth)
• Data protection and compliance considerations (e.g., SOX, GDPR where applicable)

Reporting & Analytics

Education & Qulaification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Years of Experience
• 6–9 years of progressive experience in Salesforce development
• 4+ years supporting production Salesforce environments
• Experience delivering complex, cross-functional Salesforce solutions in an enterprise IT organization
