Introduction: We are seeking a skilled Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer with 5 to 10 years of experience to join our dynamic marketing technology team. This role is pivotal in driving personalized customer engagement and enhancing marketing automation capabilities by leveraging the power of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Salesforce Data Cloud. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement scalable marketing solutions that directly impact customer acquisition, retention, and overall business growth, ensuring our marketing efforts are data-driven, targeted, and highly effective.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain complex marketing automation workflows using Salesforce Marketing Cloud components such as Email Studio, Journey Builder, and Automation Studio.

• Develop and optimize personalized email campaigns using AMPscript to enhance customer engagement and campaign performance.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, analytics, and IT to gather requirements and deliver tailored marketing solutions.

• Implement data integration and segmentation strategies leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud, SQL, and Apex to ensure precise targeting and effective campaign execution.

• Build and maintain integrations between Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other systems using Apex and Lightning components to enable seamless data flow and automation.

• Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues related to Salesforce Marketing Cloud campaigns and automation processes, ensuring high availability and performance.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and industry best practices in email marketing.

• Continuously evaluate and recommend improvements to existing marketing cloud processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.

• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members and stakeholders on Salesforce Marketing Cloud capabilities, best practices, and integration techniques.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Marketing, or a related field.

• 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud in a professional environment.

• Strong proficiency in AMPscript for dynamic content creation and personalization within email campaigns.

• Experience with data segmentation, SQL queries, and automation workflows within Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

• Knowledge and experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, Apex, and Lightning development.

• Relevant Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications such as Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Email Specialist or Marketing Cloud Consultant are highly desirable.

• Solid understanding of email marketing best practices, including CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other relevant compliance standards.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong communication skills to effectively liaise between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
