SalesForce Technical Lead - Cairo

  • Lead the end-to-end technical design and delivery of Salesforce solutions, including custom development, integrations, and platform configurations.
  • Architect scalable solutions across Salesforce clouds (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, etc.) aligned with best practices.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and solution designs.
  • Develop and review Apex classes, triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce pages, and Flows.
  • Own the technical governance of the Salesforce org — managing code quality, release management, and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
  • Lead and mentor a team of Salesforce developers and administrators, conducting code reviews and providing technical guidance.
  • Design and implement integrations with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs, middleware platforms (e.g., Jitterbit), and platform events.
  • Collaborate with Business Analysts and Product Owners to align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Manage and mitigate technical risks, proactively identifying issues and recommending solutions.
  • Stay current with Salesforce releases, new features, and emerging best practices, and assess their impact on the platform.
  • Ensure compliance with security, data governance, and regulatory requirements within the Salesforce environment.

Requirements


Minimum Qualifications:

    • 8+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience, with at least 2 years in a technical lead or senior role.
    • Deep expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, and Salesforce APIs.
    • Strong experience with Salesforce declarative tools — Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, and Custom Metadata.
    • Proven experience designing and building integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven architecture.
    • Solid understanding of Salesforce data modelling, security model (profiles, permission sets, sharing rules), and governor limits.
    • Experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Salesforce DX, Git, Copado, Gearset, or similar).
    • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.

Certifications (Required / Preferred)

  • Required: Salesforce Platform Developer I
  • Preferred: Salesforce Platform Developer II, Salesforce Application Architect, System Architect

Required Skills:

  • Strong leadership and team mentoring capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills — able to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver in a fast-paced environment.

Preferable Skills:

  • Experience in large-scale Salesforce org transformations or migrations.
  • Proficiency with dbt for data transformation and modelling.
  • Hands-on experience with data orchestration and data pipeline tools.
  • Experience with Tableau for data visualisation and reporting.
