Job Summary:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-oriented Supermarket Salesman to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting customers, promoting products, maintaining product displays, and ensuring the smooth operation of the sales floor. The role involves helping customers with their shopping needs, upselling products, and contributing to sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Assistance: Greet customers, help them find products, and provide information to support their purchasing decisions.
  • Sales & Promotions: Recommend additional items and promotions to boost sales, and actively participate in sales campaigns.
  • Stock Management: Ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and rotated (especially perishable goods). Report low stock to management.
  • Customer Service: Address inquiries and resolve complaints to ensure a positive shopping experience.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay informed about products, new arrivals, and promotions to educate customers.
  • Cash Register & Payments: Process transactions accurately and assist with packaging items.
  • Inventory & Stock Replenishment: Assist with stocktaking, receiving deliveries, and ensuring products are ready for sale.
  • Store Maintenance: Keep the sales floor clean and organized, including shelves and customer areas.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations, and report issues or customer feedback to management.

Experience and Skills:

  • Experience: Previous retail experience is preferred, but freshers are welcome to apply.
  • Languages: Fluency in both English and Arabic is required to assist a diverse customer base.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills in both languages, with the ability to assist and interact professionally with customers and team members.
