Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Salesman to be a part of our sales team and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a proven track record in business development and sales. This role requires a strategic thinker who can effectively manage accounts, develop new market opportunities, and build relationships with potential customers.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, photograph, and determine current conditions of roofs on homes, commercial, and possibly multi-family properties in a timely and efficient manner.
- Must be able to use a ladder and handle heights as it is part of the every day schedule.
- Strive to achieve high sales targets and enhance performance.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand existing accounts.
- Conduct outside sales activities, including client meetings, presentations, and networking events.
- Utilize Salesforce for tracking sales activities, managing leads, and reporting on performance metrics.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.
- Provide technical sales support by understanding customer needs and presenting tailored solutions.
- Maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Requirements
- Must be okay with using a ladder and/or other roofing style equipment.
- You will get on and inspect customer/client's roofs.
- Proven experience in a Salesman role or similar position, preferred, not required.
- Demonstrated success in business development and outside sales activities.
- Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software for account management and reporting, preferred, not required.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze market data and make informed decisions based on findings.
- Technical knowledge of products or services offered is preferred but not required.
