Salon Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Hair Stylist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various hair styling techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Hair Stylist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful hairstyles, offering expert advice on hair care, and ensuring that clients leave feeling satisfied and confident.

Duties

• Provide a range of hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling to meet client needs.
• Salon management, opening, closing, hygiene & more.
• Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling, client management, and inventory tracking.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, tools, and equipment in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with clients when needed.
• Engage in retail sales by recommending products that suit clients' hair types and styling preferences.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in hairstyling and salon management practices.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience needed.
• Familiarity with salon software for efficient operation management. Training provided.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality service.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Certification or license in cosmetology required.
