HIRING: SALVAGE & CRISIS RESPONSE MANAGER (MARITIME)
Preferred locations: Dubai, United Kingdom or Greece (open to all nationalities)

What You’ll Do:
1. Emergency & Crisis Management

  • Lead the company’s response to maritime emergencies including groundings, collisions, fires, flooding, and other vessel casualties.
  • Activate and manage the Crisis Response Team, ensuring clear structure, communication flow, and decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Coordinate with shipowners, P&I clubs, insurers, authorities, and technical teams during incidents.

2. Salvage Coordination

  • Assess and evaluate casualty situations and determine appropriate and most suitable salvage strategies or approach.
  • Liaise with salvage contractors, technical specialist/experts, and classification societies.
  • Oversee mobilization of salvage assets, equipment, and response teams.
  • Monitor salvage progress and ensure compliance with contractual terms

3. Operational Oversight

  • Maintain situational awareness through real-time monitoring and intelligence.
  • Provide technical guidance related to risk mitigation, environmental protection, and vessel stability.
  • Prepare reports, risk assessments, and post-incident reviews.

4. Stakeholder & Communication Management

  • Serve as the primary contact during crises for clients, authorities, and partners.
  • Ensure timely, accurate internal and external communication during emergencies.
  • Manage relationships with emergency response partners and maritime service providers.

5. Preparedness & Training

  • Conduct crisis-management drills and simulations.
  • Train internal teams and clients on emergency procedures.
  • Continuously improve protocols based on lessons learned and evolving regulations.

  • Deep understanding of maritime operations, vessel systems, and international regulations.
  • Ability to work across time zones and lead multidisciplinary teams
  • Problem-solving, analytical thinking, and high resilience.

Qualifications (Preferred):
Degree in Maritime Studies, Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or related background (preferred).
Experience in salvage, emergency response, vessel operations, or maritime risk management.
Familiarity with IMO regulations, LOF/SCOPIC, P&I frameworks, and national emergency response systems.
