Sandwich Artist/Cashier

Duties

• Prepare fresh sandwiches and food items according to company standards, ensuring quality and presentation.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POSto process transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and upsell menu items to enhance their experience.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions with precision, maintaining accurate cash handling records.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, food prep areas, and dining spaces in compliance with food safety standards.
• Restock supplies, ingredients, and packaging materials to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Assist with bussing tables and managing food handling duties to support overall restaurant flow.

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transaction processing.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell menu items confidently.
• Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
• Previous restaurant or retail experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
