Sanitation General Labor - Line 5 2nd shift

Essential Functions

• Responsible for effective sanitation and upkeep of the compactor room.
• Responsible for the collection and transportation of rubbish from production and warehouse areas.
• Must be willing to walk throughout the facility repeatedly while moving rubbish carts.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be detail oriented and be able to work independently.
• Timely notification to Maintenance, Supervisor and/or Lead of equipment problems.
• Notify Supervisor and/or Lead of actual or potential problems.
• Must be able to follow verbal instructions from Supervisor and/or Lead.
• Responsible for compliance with GMP’s, proper sanitation, and housekeeping in area.
• Responsible for use of required safety equipment and complying with proper safety procedures including wearing proper protective clothing, steel toe boots, and safety goggles at all times.
• Other duties as assigned by Management or volunteered for.

Experience

• Previous sanitation/janitorial experience a plus.
