Sanitation Line Lead - Food Manufacturing (Baking)

Overview: We are seeking a hands-on Sanitation Line Lead to oversee cleaning and sanitation activities on our production lines in a vegan baking food manufacturing facility. This role ensures equipment and production areas are cleaned and sanitized in compliance with food safety standards and company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and support sanitation team members during assigned shift
• Adhere to strict sanitation and hygiene protocols to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Perform and assign completion of daily cleaning tasks
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and food safety regulations
• Verify proper cleaning and sanitizing of production lines, ovens, mixers, conveyors, racks, and related equipment
• Coordinate line breakdown and reassembly for cleaning
• Train team members on sanitation procedures and chemical safety
• Complete sanitation logs and documentation accurately and on time
• Partner with Production and Quality Assurance
• Communicate with site management giving regular updates throughout the day
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of sanitation experience in food manufacturing (baking preferred)
• Ability to read and write in English and to follow written directions, formulas, and process instructions.
• Previous lead experience strongly preferred
• Knowledge of GMPs and food safety practices
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs

SHIFT: Monday - Friday 10am - 6:30PM

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
