Sanitation Worker (Weekends and weekdays)

The Sanitation Technician will be responsible for the cleaning of a food processing facility on various shifts including weekends. The work schedule is based upon customer production scheduling. The schedules that are open is generally from

During the week schedules are on various shifts including 6a-2p, 2p-10p and 10p-6a. We are currently Hiring for 2nd Shift (2p-1030pm) and 3rd Shift (10pm-630am). The days worked during the week are determined by client schedule.

Weekend shifts are required:

Saturday and Sunday 6AM - 6PM or until the work is completed. The work to be completed is very particular and needs someone who has an attention to detail.

Part Time workers will generally work between 12-24 hours per week and includes weekend work. Weekend work will include deep cleaning of equipment as well as may include janitorial tasks.

The basic duties of the Sanitation Technician include, but are not limited to:

• Covering of sensitive equipment prior to wet cleaning of equipment.
• Cleaning food processing equipment in a facility. This includes using water hoses, brushes, scrub pads as well as wiping surfaces.
• Trash removal and replacing of trash bags.
• Clean and sanitize parts and tools for use during the production shift.
• Inspect food processing equipment after cleaning. A high attention to detail is required.
• Work with cleaning chemicals and wear proper protective equipment.
• Work in a safe manner at all times. Use of company-provided Lockout Tagout devices is mandatory.
• Be able to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Be hands-on and have the ability to complete all cleaning tasks in a timely manner.
• Complete daily and weekly reports as required.
