Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Sanskrit Teacher to teach students from Classes 3 to 8. The primary focus of this role is not on Sanskrit reading and writing, but on helping students learn shlokas and understand stories from epics such as the Ramayanam and Mahabharata.

Key Responsibilities

  • Teach students various Sanskrit shlokas with correct pronunciation and meaning.
  • Explain and narrate stories from Ramayanam and Mahabharata in an engaging manner.
  • Encourage moral values and cultural understanding through storytelling.
  • Prepare lesson plans focused on memorization, recitation, and comprehension.
  • Conduct regular practice sessions for shloka recitation.
  • Monitor and evaluate students’ progress.
  • Maintain classroom discipline and a positive learning environment.
  • Participate in school activities and academic meetings.
  • Follow school rules and academic policies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Sanskrit or related field (preferred).
  • Training or experience in teaching shlokas and epics is an advantage.
  • Teaching experience at school level is preferred.

Skills & Competencies

  • Good command over Sanskrit pronunciation.
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills.
  • Ability to engage young learners.
  • Patience and dedication towards teaching.
  • Passion for Indian culture and traditions.

Experience

  • Freshers or experienced candidates may apply.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with relevant teaching experience.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹13,362.18 - ₹20,000.82 per month
