We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP ABAP Developer specializing in HR Payroll to support a major SAP transformation program. This role will focus on developing, enhancing, and maintaining payroll-related ABAP solutions within SAP HCM and Employee Central Payroll environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development for payroll processes, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with HR functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and support ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and enhancements for SAP HCM Payroll.
Collaborate with HR functional teams to understand payroll requirements and translate them into efficient technical solutions.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize payroll-related ABAP code to ensure accurate and reliable payroll processing.
Assist in integration scenarios between SAP Payroll, Employee Central, and other SAP or external systems, ensuring seamless data flow.
Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, change logs, and adhere to SAP coding standards and best practices.
Stay updated on the latest SAP technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions and improvements.
Experience:
1-3 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development, with a focus on SAP HCM Payroll and Employee Central Payroll.
Exposure to payroll-related processes and integration scenarios is highly desirable.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ABAP for HANA, including CDS views, AMDP, and OData services.
Strong understanding of SAP HCM Payroll processes and Employee Central Payroll integration.
Familiarity with SAP development tools, debugging techniques, and performance optimization.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve payroll-related technical issues effectively.
Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and designing technical solutions to meet payroll requirements.
Communication and Collaboration Skills:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with HR functional teams and technical teams.
Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and ensure seamless project delivery.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
SAP certifications in ABAP for HANA or SAP HCM Payroll are a plus.
