SAP Ariba Downstream Functional Lead

The role would primarily revolve around Ariba Downstream (Guided Buying) –

• Act as subject-matter expert (SME)
• Complete capabilities & skills assessment
• Actively participate in Peak program (S/4 Hana) & learning Initiatives - kick-off meeting, learning meetings & community of practice (CoP)
• Complete Key User Train the Trainer (TTT) Bootcamp
• Execute user acceptance test
• Actively participate in Key User Upskilling
• Prepare for End User Training
• Deliver End User training
• Be the first contact Point for End User Queries
• Strong Understanding of procurement processes and Ariba Solutions delivery experience in ARIBA Experience in Ariba Downstream modules (Commerce Automation, B&I, Guided Buying, CA, DSN, SCC)
• Experience in Cloud Integration Gateway set up and mapping
• Serve as subject matter expert in Ariba solutions and Ariba to SAP integration.
• Business Engagement - Engaging with business proactive to build trust and relationship for better stakeholder management. Act as a strong interface between SAP and business stakeholders
• Should be able to anchor Design Workshops by taking the support of Ariba Walk-throughs and driving fit gap discissions, after considering Business inputs.
• Project documentation creation and updation experience (As-Is, To-Be process, Test Scripts, User manuals etc.), process flows for the clients proposed business processes. Prepare process definition document/design document (PDD) and business process procedure (BPP) for the solutions provided.
• Configure Ariba System according to client requirements and integrate it with other SAP systems such as ECC/SAP S4 HANA.
• Support the client teams through the implementation cycle including planning and execution of testing, migration, and cutover.
• Support to Design daily, weekly and monthly management reports for business.

Key requirements:

• 5-8 Years of experience in SAP ARIBA (Downstream)
• Understanding of integration between SAP modules.
• Minimum of 7 years SAP Ariba implementation experience and at least three (3) full life-cycle implementation projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live)
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with global, virtual teams.
• Ready to travel or relocate (As needed) for subsequent project rollout’s to new geographies
• Excellent Training skills (Train the Trainer approach) and Knowledge Transfer sessions to the team.
