SAP Basis Administrator

System Administration & Maintenance

• 
  

  Install, configure, and upgrade SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, etc.).

• Perform system copies, refreshes, and client administration.

• Apply SAP patches, kernel upgrades, and support packages.

• Manage SAP transports using TMS.

Performance Monitoring & Tuning

• 
  

  Monitor system health, performance, and availability.

• Analyze and resolve performance bottlenecks.

• Optimize database and application server performance.

User & Security Administration

• 
  

  Manage users, roles, authorizations, and profiles.

• Ensure compliance with security policies.

• Perform regular security audits and vulnerability checks.

Backup, Recovery & DR

• 
  

  Plan and execute backup and recovery strategies.

• Support disaster recovery (DR) and business continuity planning.

• Perform regular restore tests.

System Integration

• 
  

  Manage RFCs, interfaces, and middleware connections.

• Support SAP integration with third-party systems.

• Configure SAP routers, web dispatchers, and load balancers.

Troubleshooting & Support

• 
  

  Provide L2/L3 support for SAP technical issues.

• Analyze dumps, logs, and traces.

• Work closely with functional teams and developers.

HANA Administration (if applicable)

• 
  

  Monitor HANA database performance.

• Manage memory, disk, and CPU usage.

• Perform HANA backups, restores, and upgrades.

Documentation & Compliance

• 
  

  Maintain system documentation.

• Follow ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management).

• Ensure audit readiness.
