SAP BASIS Consultant (Freelance – Night Shift)

We are looking for an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant to provide remote technical support during night shifts for a US-based organization. This is a freelance opportunity, ideal for professionals with strong SAP BASIS expertise who can independently manage and resolve support tickets.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide SAP BASIS administration and support for SAP HANA and Oracle database environments.
• Manage system upgrades, kernel updates, and patch implementations.
• Handle Change and Transport Management (CTS) across SAP landscapes.
• Configure, monitor, and maintain SAP Web Dispatcher and related components.
• Perform memory management, performance tuning, and system optimization.
• Monitor RFC connections, background jobs, and system logs.
• Ensure system availability, performance, and backup integrity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve incident and service tickets within defined SLAs.
• Maintain detailed documentation of activities and resolutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of hands-on SAP BASIS administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of SAP HANA DB and Oracle DB.
• Expertise in CTS management and Web Dispatcher configuration.
• Proficiency in system monitoring, performance tuning, and RFC setup.
• Solid understanding of Linux/Unix environments and SAP system architecture.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently during night shifts.
• SAP BASIS or HANA certification preferred.
