SAP-BPC Consultant

We are hiring for the position of Sr SAP Consultant – FI/CO for a long-term opportunity in Doha.

Duration: 18 Months, extendable

Role Objective:
The selected candidate will provide specialist support to the Finance workstream in the SAP S/4HANA Transformation Program. The role involves supporting finance migration and consolidation activities, guiding the System Integrator team on key design decisions, improving business processes, and working closely with Finance Business Process Owners to ensure successful transition to SAP S/4HANA.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver key design decisions and ensure timely migration activities for the Finance workstream in the SAP S/4HANA transformation program.
• Support planning, design, testing, and deployment activities.
• Identify and advise business teams on process improvements and SAP-based solutions.
• Collaborate with IT, business units, and external consultants to consolidate SAP landscapes and interfaces into a unified S/4HANA landscape.
• Lead testing activities and ensure multiple rounds of testing for BPML processes are completed successfully.
• Drive finance-related data migration strategy, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Oversee fit-gap analysis, blueprinting, and solution design for FI, CO, Asset Accounting, Treasury, and related finance modules.
• Manage stakeholder expectations and provide regular updates to leadership.
• Support governance frameworks for project governance, scope management, and cost control.
• Drive change management, training, and stakeholder engagement for finance business processes.

Required Experience & Skills:

• 9+ years of professional experience.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on SAP implementation/support experience.
• At least one full lifecycle implementation project in SAP FI/CO.
• Strong understanding of finance processes including GL, AP, AR, Asset Accounting, Cost Centre Accounting, and Profitability Analysis.
• Good knowledge of SAP FI/CO.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance transformation projects.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work with business users to finalize key design decisions.
• Exposure to agile or hybrid project management methodologies is an added advantage.
• Experience with testing tools such as HP ALM or Tricentis is desirable.
• SAP FI/CO or SAP PaPM certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with Signavio Process Modeler is a plus.

Qualification:

• Professional Accounting qualification such as Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, Cost and Management Accountant, or equivalent is preferable.

Pay: Up to QAR22,000.00 per month
