About ITHR Technologies Consulting LLC ITHR Technologies Consulting LLC is a rapidly growing digital transformation and SAP consulting partner delivering enterprise-grade solutions across the Middle East. We specialize in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and large-scale system integrations for leading regional clients. We are expanding our integration practice and seeking an experienced SAP CPI Consultant to support a major SAP BTP-based integration program.

Role Overview

The SAP CPI Consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing end-to-end integration scenarios using SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) as part of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

The role focuses on integrating SAP systems with third-party applications using modern, API-driven architectures in a hybrid onsite-offshore delivery model.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize SAP CPI iFlows using standard and custom adapters.
  • Implement message mappings, routing, content-based filtering, and exception handling in CPI.
  • Build and manage integrations using REST, SOAP, IDoc, SFTP, and event-based interfaces.
  • Apply best practices for CPI monitoring, alerting, logging, and performance optimization.
  • Work with SAP BTP components and connectivity concepts (Cloud Connector, security artifacts, certificates).
  • Analyze integration requirements and translate them into scalable technical designs.
  • Support end-to-end testing including unit testing, SIT, and UAT for integration scenarios.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve CPI runtime, connectivity, and data transformation issues.
  • Prepare technical design documents, interface specifications, and operational handover materials.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, functional consultants, and client stakeholders to deliver integration milestones.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 5-8 years of SAP integration experience with strong hands-on expertise in SAP CPI.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing complex CPI integration flows.
  • Strong understanding of integration patterns, middleware concepts, and API-based architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with XML, JSON, REST, SOAP, IDocs, EDIFACT, and file-based integrations.
  • Experience with Groovy scripting for CPI mappings and custom logic.
  • Familiarity with SAP ABAP for integration enablement (RFCs, IDocs, OData) is an added advantage but not mandatory.
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA integration scenarios is preferred.
  • Knowledge of supply chain or logistics integrations is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
