Job Title: SAP EWM Consultant

Overview: SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) consultants are responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP EWM module to optimize warehouse operations and supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities:
SAP EWM Implementation:
- Lead or participate in SAP EWM implementation projects.
- Configure the SAP EWM module to meet business requirements.
Requirement Gathering:
- Engage with stakeholders to understand warehouse operations and logistics needs.
- Develop functional specifications based on gathered requirements.
System Customization:
- Customize SAP EWM settings, including warehouse structure, storage types, strategies, and resources.
Process Optimization:
- Analyze and optimize warehouse management processes using SAP EWM tools.
- Implement solutions to improve warehouse efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Integration:
- Ensure seamless integration of SAP EWM with other SAP modules such as MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution).
Training and Support:
- Conduct training sessions for end-users and team members.
- Provide post-implementation support for troubleshooting and enhancements.
Documentation:
- Prepare comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and user manuals.
Testing:
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure the system meets business requirements.
Skills and Qualifications:
Technical Expertise:
- Proficiency in SAP EWM module and its sub-components.
- Experience with SAP ECC or SAP S/4HANA.
- Qualification- Any Engineering graduate
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
Experience:
- 5 to 6 years of experience in SAP EWM implementation and support.
- Familiarity with warehouse operations and supply chain logistics.
Certifications:
- SAP Certified Application Associate in SAP EWM.
- Relevant certifications in SAP S/4HANA Warehousing and Logistics.
Desired Skills:
- Knowledge of warehouse automation technologies and integration.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and manage multiple priorities.
