SAP Functional Analyst
Job Description:
The responsibilities includes following but are not limited to these:
Master Data Management (MDM):
- Ensure accurate creation, maintenance, and governance of master data objects (material master, vendor master, customer master, BOMs, routings, cost centers).
- Develop and enforce MDM policies and procedures to ensure data integrity across the enterprise.
- Conduct periodic data audits and cleansing activities.
- Collaborate with business units to streamline master data workflows and reduce duplication/inconsistencies.
SAP Production Planning (PP):
- Configure and support end-to-end PP processes including production orders, routings, BOMs, MRP, capacity planning, shop floor control, and back flushing.
- Align SAP PP functionality with textile production processes such as weaving, dyeing, finishing, cutting, and stitching.
- Assist in planning strategies, demand management, and integration with MM and CO.
SAP Materials Management (MM):
- Manage procurement lifecycle including PR, PO, GR, IR, stock transfers, and material movements.
- Optimize textile-specific inventory control and warehouse management.
- Coordinate with procurement and warehouse teams to support vendor evaluation and procurement KPIs.
- Configure automatic account determination and integration with FI.
SAP Sales & Distribution (SD):
- Support and configure SD processes including sales order processing, pricing, deliveries, invoicing, and returns.
- Manage customer master data and credit management settings.
- Ensure smooth integration of sales data with finance and logistics.
- Monitor and resolve issues related to output control and delivery scheduling.
Cross-Functional Responsibilities:
- Act as a bridge between business users and technical teams to gather requirements, provide solutions, and implement enhancements.
- Conduct user training, create functional specifications, test new features, and support UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Monitor and resolve SAP tickets related to functional areas.
- Ensure seamless integration with other modules like FI/CO, QM, and HCM as required.
Experience:
- Minimum 5–8 years of hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA in MDM, PP, MM, and SD.
- Experience in SAP project lifecycles – blueprinting, realization, testing, go-live, and support.
- Proven track record of supporting SAP in textile manufacturing (weaving, processing, garmenting, etc.).
- SAP certification in PP/MM/SD modules is an advantage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of business processes in procurement, production, inventory, and sales.
- Knowledge of integration with FI/CO and ABAP debugging is a plus.
