SAP Functional Consultant (EAM)

As an SAP Functional Consultant – Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) at Accenture, you will play a key role in analyzing organizational processes, designing systems, and delivering SAP EAM solutions that drive operational efficiency and business value. You will assess the current state, identify customer requirements, and define future-state business solutions that align with organizational goals. As a subject matter expert, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage team performance, and contribute to key decisions. Advanced proficiency in SAP Enterprise Asset Management is essential, with recommended expertise in SAP Plant Maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze organizational processes and design SAP EAM solutions that align with business objectives and enhance asset management practices.

• Act as a subject matter expert in SAP EAM, providing guidance and innovative solutions to address complex business challenges.

• Assess the current state, identify customer requirements, and define future-state business processes and solutions.

• Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, foster collaboration among stakeholders, and validate proposed solutions.

• Develop detailed documentation that outlines business processes, system requirements, and solution designs to support process improvements and system enhancements.

• Utilize data analysis techniques to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for innovation in asset management.

• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure the successful implementation of SAP EAM solutions and alignment with business objectives.

• Provide training and support to end-users to enhance system adoption, efficiency, and overall user experience.

• Continuously assess and refine business processes to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with industry standards.

• Engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to challenges that apply across various teams.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of [4 years] of experience in SAP EAM functional consulting, business process analysis, or solution design.

• Advanced proficiency in SAP Enterprise Asset Management (EAM).

• Strong understanding of SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and its role in delivering business value.

• Proven experience in gathering and documenting business requirements and designing SAP EAM solutions.

• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and provide innovative solutions.

• Strong collaboration and communication skills to engage with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• Experience in facilitating workshops and developing detailed process and solution documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in SAP EAM, SAP Plant Maintenance, or related areas.

• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA and cloud-based SAP solutions.

• Experience with data analysis techniques and tools to identify trends and insights.

• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and project management practices.

• Proven ability to identify opportunities for innovation and process improvement in SAP EAM implementations.
