SAP Functional Solution Architect

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a ⁠SAP Functional Solution Architect for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology, and engineering services.

This position requires flexibility to work on US times and flexibility to travel abroad when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and architecture of SAP solutions to meet business requirements.
• Conduct workshops and gather business requirements from stakeholders.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications.
• Develop solution blueprints, roadmaps, and architecture diagrams.
• Evaluate and select appropriate SAP modules and technologies.
• Ensure integration and interoperability between different SAP components and other systems.
• Provide guidance and direction to functional consultants and developers.
• Review and approve functional specifications and technical designs.
• Oversee the implementation and testing of SAP solutions.
• Manage risks and issues related to SAP architecture.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and trends.
• Provide thought leadership and best practice recommendations on SAP solutions.
• Mentor and coach other team members on SAP architecture and design.
• Participate in pre-sales activities and contribute to proposal development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 6+ years of hands-on experience in SAP functional consulting and architecture.
• Deep understanding of SAP modules and functionalities (e.g., ERP, S/4HANA, CRM, SCM).
• Strong knowledge of business processes and industry best practices. Specify relevant industries.
• Experience with SAP implementation methodologies (e.g., ASAP, Activate).
• Proficiency in creating solution blueprints, architecture diagrams, and technical specifications.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• SAP certifications in relevant areas are preferred.
