SAP MM DRC Consultant

As an MM DRC Consultant at Accenture, you will be responsible for designing, configuring, and deploying SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC) solutions to ensure compliant e-invoicing, statutory reporting, and indirect tax requirements across procurement processes. You will play a critical role in enabling organizations to meet local legal and tax regulations while ensuring seamless integration with SAP Materials Management (MM) and Finance (FI) modules. This role requires expertise in SAP DRC, a strong understanding of procurement processes, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver compliant and efficient solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. SAP DRC Configuration and Deployment:

• Configure SAP DRC for MM scenarios such as vendor invoices, purchase orders, and goods receipts to meet local e-invoicing and tax reporting regulations.
• Integrate SAP DRC with MM, FI, and external government/tax authority platforms to enable seamless data exchange.
• Support real-time reporting, e-document generation, validation, and submission processes to ensure compliance with statutory requirements.

2. Testing and Deployment:

• Lead testing, cutover, and deployment activities for compliant document exchange processes, ensuring smooth transitions to the new system.
• Validate end-to-end functionality of SAP DRC solutions to ensure compliance with local legal and tax frameworks.

3. Monitoring and Error Handling:

• Design and implement monitoring, error-handling, and reconciliation procedures for statutory reports and e-invoicing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to document exchange, validation, and submission.

4. Compliance and Auditability:

• Ensure auditability, controls, and compliance with local legal and tax frameworks, including indirect tax requirements.
• Collaborate with compliance teams to stay updated on evolving regulations and ensure solutions remain compliant.

5. Training and Knowledge Transfer:

• Conduct workshops and provide training to procurement and finance users to ensure smooth adoption of SAP DRC solutions.
• Prepare and maintain documentation, user guides, and training materials to support ongoing operations.
