SAP Plant Maintenance

We are looking to hire an SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) Functional Consultant who will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting SAP PM solutions across global manufacturing environments for our client based in Dubai – a leading Semi-Government entity in the UAE and a global leader in its industry.

This position is a contract role with an initial duration of 12 months and is renewable .

Key responsibilities:

• Work with global business stakeholders to gather requirements and design SAP PM solutions aligned with maintenance and asset management best practices.
• Configure and support SAP PM modules covering Preventive Maintenance, Corrective Maintenance, Breakdown Maintenance, Calibration, and Refurbishment.
• Support integration of PM with MM (spare parts/material management), PP (production planning), QM (quality management), and WM/EWM (warehouse management).
• Manage end-to-end processes such as Maintenance Notifications, Work Orders, Scheduling, Material Reservations, and Settlement.
• Ensure smooth execution of material handling processes related to spare parts and maintenance inventory.
• Provide L2/L3 application support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents.
• Support SAP upgrades, S/4HANA migrations, and global rollouts for plant maintenance solutions.
• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) in SAP PM and mentor junior consultants and business users.

Knowledge, skills & experience:

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Industrial Management, or related field.
• Experience: Minimum 7 years of functional consulting experience in SAP PM with a strong background in plant maintenance and material handling, ideally supporting global manufacturing organizations.
• Knowledge:
• Maintenance Planning, Scheduling, Work Orders, and Spare Parts Management.
• Integration with MM, PP, QM, WM/EWM, and EHS.
• SAP S/4HANA Asset Management and Fiori apps.
• Exposure to Predictive Maintenance (IoT-enabled) and integration with CMMS systems.

• Strong documentation, testing, and training delivery capabilities.
• Ability to work in global, multicultural, and cross-functional teams.

Certifications:

• SAP Certified Application Associate – Plant Maintenance (PM).
• SAP Certified Application Associate – S/4HANA Asset Management.
• ITIL certification (preferred).
• Project management certifications (PMP, PRINCE2, or Agile) are desirable.

Availability:

Preference will be given to candidates available immediately or a maximum of 30 days after accepting the offer.
