Chemours is seeking a Maintenance SAP Master Data Resource to join our growing Thermal & Specialized Solutions Team! This position is a vital member of the Maintenance organization and will report directly to the Mechanical Integrity Leader at our location in Ingleside, TX.

This role ensures the accuracy and consistency of SAP maintenance asset and organizational master data, forming the foundation for the site’s Work Management, MI/QA, and Reliability Engineering processes. The SAP Master Data Resource directly supports site operations by executing data change requests, maintaining master data, and collaborating with multiple site stakeholders to drive continuous improvement and data integrity.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Execute equipment, material, and organizational data change requests as approved by the site review process, ensuring timely and accurate data entry (creation, modification, deletion) in the SAP system.

  • Input and maintain site-level maintenance asset master data and organizational master data as per site Management of Change (MOC) protocols.

  • Accurately process maintenance data related to equipment, functional locations, bills of material, maintenance plans, task lists, HR Mini-masters, work centers, planner groups, and workflows.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for maintenance SAP data inquiries, supporting maintenance teams and SAP-PM users (e.g., SAP-PM Guardian, Maintenance Coordinator, Planner, Supervisor, Reliability Engineer, MI/QA Site Leader).

  • Communicate discrepancies and propose data/process improvements to relevant stakeholders.

  • Provide Key Process Indicator (KPI) reports to help identify master data issues and areas for improvement.

  • Assist with SAP improvement projects, administration, training, and other SAP-related tasks as assigned by supervision.

  • Timely and accurate asset data input for creation/modification/deletions.

  • Timely and accurate organizational data input for creation/modification/deletions.

  • Update SAP Workflow PPMOE table values to reflect authorized organizational changes.

  • Ensure compliance with site safety policies, procedures, and training requirements.

  • Any other SAP related tasks distributed by site Leadership.

In order to be qualified for this role, you must possess the following:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 5+ Experience with SAP Master Data in PSM regulated industrial environments.

  • Proficient with SAP and experience executing SAP transactions, specifically in Maintenance or related modules.

  • Capable of configuration in SAP with training.

  • Efficient keyboarding skills and attention to detail in data entry.

  • Ability to interpret technical documents and drawings (e.g., P&IDs, blueprints).

  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate data accuracy and adherence to system and process standards.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office® suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and other software as appropriate (e.g., Reliance ETQ, Vector Learning, Workday).

  • Good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills; able to influence across levels and functions.

  • Effective written and oral communication skills.

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills; self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

  • Knowledge of Work Management Practices (WMP).

  • Must be able to commute daily to a local Corpus Christi, TX facility.

The following skill sets are preferred by the business unit:

  • SAP, Lean Six Sigma, or continuous improvement certifications/training.

  • Knowledge of Work Management Practices (WMP) and safety requirements preferred.

  • Experience applying lean methodologies and supporting implementation of business systems.

  • Participation in data quality or Lean process improvement initiatives.

  • Knowledge of OSHA PSM and regulatory asset data requirements.

  • Project management or cross-functional team coordination experience.

  • Advanced Excel and SAP reporting skills; proficiency with SharePoint and business systems.

Work Environment & Expectations:

  • Regular participation in SAP PM User site and business meetings.

  • Occasional involvement in safety audits and improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to perform all duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
