SAP Production Planning

Hands on experience in PP, some hands on experience in discrete manufacturing, with strong knowledge in following areas

Experience - 9+ Yrs

Language Proficiency - French & English

Configuration:

· Setting up production scheduling profiles.

· Configuring planning strategies (make-to-stock, make-to-order, etc.)

· Defining and customizing MRP types, lot sizing, and production versions.

· Setup of backflushing, kanban, and repetitive manufacturing.

· Configuration of Production Order Types, Confirmations, Operations, Status Profile, and Selection Profiles.

· Order management, scheduling and staging.

Master data management:

· Material Master

· Bill of Material (BOM)

· Work Center/Resources

· Routing and Recipe Management

Production Planning processes

· Hands on work experience on MRP and MPS parameters. MRP controllers, MRP groups.

· Demand management, Capacity planning and levelling.

· Sales & operations planning.

· Good to have knowledge of product costing (CO-PP integtation).

· Experience with PLM and MES is preferred.

Integration with SAP Modules:

· PP-MM: Component procurement and inventory management.

· PP-SD: Make-to-order and ATP checks.

· PP-QM: Inspection during production and quality in process. Inspection lot creation, quality control, routing, quality order management.

· PP-PM: Maintenance planning and spare parts.

Candidate should have experienced in Production Support process in their recent projects.

Candidate must have worked on Engineering & Manufacturing Bill of Materials (eBOM, mBOM).

Candidate must have worked on fixing failure of IDOCS due to master data issues or over consumption issues. Solving issues related to stock transfer IDOCS.

Be a mentor, guide and coach to project teams on project best practices, learnings, newer tools from SAP and CG, latest SAP innovations etc.

Knowledge of Traceability matrix, Cutover plan, Integration plan and Test plan

Should understand interfaces and processes. Should be able to trouble shoot custom enhancement issues.

Good to have knowledge of any ticketing system like remedy or service now, etc.

Batch job monitoring and should understand batch job processes in PP and Planning area.

Should be ready to handle ON Call process as production support team member.
