SAP PP/QM Consultant

SAP PPQM:

Minimum 4 to 5 years of experience with 2 end to end implementation projects.

With two E2E implementation projects, with atleast one pharma/chemical industry experience.

Required skills and experience

Expertise in SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) modules.

Familiarity with different manufacturing types, such as discrete and repetitive manufacturing.

Knowledge of specific SAP functionalities like MRP, Quality Control, and Master Data Management.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Experience with system configuration, data migration, and testing.

Understanding of integration between different SAP modules.

We are looking for an experienced SAP Functional Consultant to join our team in Ahmedabad. The ideal candidate should have strong functional expertise in SAP modules relevant to manufacturing environments (MM/PP/QM) and hands-on experience in end-to-end implementation, support, and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Work closely with business users to gather, analyze, and document requirements.

Configure, customize, and enhance SAP modules such as MM, PPQM based on business needs.

Provide functional support for day-to-day operations and resolve production issues.

Participate in full cycle SAP implementations, upgrades, and rollouts.

Conduct functional testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).

Create functional specifications and coordinate with ABAP/development teams.

Ensure seamless integration of SAP modules with manufacturing processes.

Train end users and prepare documentation (SOPs, process flows, training manuals).

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and automation.

Ensure compliance with company policies, audit requirements, and industry standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.

3–8 years of relevant SAP functional experience in a manufacturing setup.

Strong understanding of manufacturing processes such as procurement, production planning, inventory management, sales & distribution, costing, and quality.

Hands-on configuration experience in at least one core module (MM/PPQM).

Experience with SAP S/4HANA preferred.

Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
