Job Summary:

The SAP Public Cloud FICO Consultant will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance modules. The primary focus will be on Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Inter-company processes, Banking operations, Group Consolidation, and Group Reporting. The consultant will work closely with business and technical teams to optimize financial processes, ensuring compliance and seamless integration with other modules.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead design and configuration of SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance modules including AP, AR, Inter-company reconciliation, Banking, and group reporting.

Support full-cycle implementations, migrations, and upgrades for SAP FICO in the Public Cloud environment.

Configure and optimize Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes including vendor/customer master data, invoice processing, payment runs, credit management, and dunning.

Implement inter-company processes, ensuring accurate reconciliation and automatic postings between entities.

Manage bank communication setups, electronic payments, bank statement processing, and cash management functionalities.

Configure and support Group Consolidation and Group Reporting functionalities following IFRS and local statutory requirements.

Analyze existing finance processes, identify gaps, and deliver improvements leveraging SAP Best Practices for Public Cloud.

Collaborate with technical teams for integrations with SAP modules such as MM, SD, and Treasury as well as external systems.

Provide functional specifications and support for custom developments and interface scenarios.

Conduct user training, documentation, and post-go-live support to ensure effective solution usage.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and audit requirements in financial reporting.

Stay up-to-date with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud innovations and incorporate them into project deliveries.

Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum 6 years of hands-on experience in SAP FICO module implementation and support, with at least 3 years in SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.

Strong expertise in SAP FI submodules: Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Inter-company reconciliation, Banking (Treasury), Group Consolidation, and Group Reporting.

Proficient knowledge of Finance business processes, SAP Activate methodology, and SAP Best Practices.

Experience in configuring financial postings, GL accounts, payment terms, tax handling, and financial closing operations.

Good understanding of SAP Group Reporting and Consolidation solutions in a cloud environment.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues across finance and integration layers.

Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or related discipline.

SAP certification in FI/CO or SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud Finance is highly desirable.

Experience working in agile project delivery teams.
