SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP S/4HANA ABAP Developer with extensive hands-on experience in advanced S/4HANA development concepts. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in Clean Core, RAP (Restful ABAP Programming Model), CDS Views, and Cloud ABAP within SAP BTP. This role involves designing, developing, and optimizing custom SAP solutions to meet business requirements while adhering to modern development standards. Excellent communication and client-facing skills are essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and support custom applications using ABAP on S/4HANA 2022.
• Design, build, and implement applications using RAP / Restful ABAP Programming Model.
• Create and optimize CDS Views, AMDPs, OData services, and other HANA-based development objects.
• Apply Clean Core development principles to ensure minimal modifications and maximum upgrade compatibility.
• Work with Cloud ABAP / ABAP Environment on SAP BTP for cloud-ready extensions and integrations.
• Collaborate with functional consultants to understand business requirements and convert them into technical solutions.
• Participate in code reviews, performance optimizations, and adherence to SAP development best practices.
• Troubleshoot issues across custom developments and integrations.
• Prepare technical specifications, documentation, and support materials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development.
• Strong experience working on S/4HANA 2022 systems.
• Proven expertise in Clean Core development and modern SAP extension practices.
• Deep understanding of RAP, CDS Views, Annotations, and Fiori-based service enablement.
• Experience with Cloud ABAP / SAP BTP ABAP Environment.
• Strong knowledge of OO-ABAP, BOPF, OData, BADIs, Enhancements, and other classical ABAP concepts.
• Solid understanding of SAP modules and business processes.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and client interaction skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Certification in ABAP, S/4HANA, or relevant technologies.
• Experience with SAP Fiori / UI5 development or integration.
• Familiarity with SAP CI/CD pipelines, Git-enabled ABAP, and modern DevOps practices.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies.

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
