SAP SD/LE Offshore Consultant (12+ Years Experience)

Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) and LE (Logistics Execution) Consultant with 12+ years of expertise in end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, and support projects. The consultant will work in an offshore delivery model, collaborating with onshore teams, business stakeholders, and technical counterparts to deliver robust solutions in the Order-to-Cash and Logistics Execution space.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Implementation

• Lead the design, configuration, and testing of SAP SD and LE modules covering Order Management, Pricing, Billing, Delivery, Shipping, and Transportation.
• Integrate SD/LE with MM, WM, PP, and FICO modules to ensure seamless end-to-end business processes.
• Provide solution expertise on global template rollouts, enhancements, and localization requirements.

Offshore Delivery & Coordination

• Act as the primary offshore SME for SD/LE, ensuring high-quality deliverables and adherence to project timelines.
• Collaborate effectively with onshore consultants, functional leads, and business teams across different time zones.
• Mentor junior consultants in the offshore team and ensure knowledge transfer and best practice adoption

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Handle complex incidents, service requests, and change requests related to SD/LE processes.
• Perform system health checks, identify gaps, and propose automation/optimization solutions.
• Ensure compliance with business rules, SOX, and audit requirements in order-to-cash and logistics processes.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Conduct workshops, requirement analysis sessions, and offshore status reviews.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP and integration teams.
• Provide proactive communication to stakeholders regarding project progress, issues, and risks.

Required Skills & Experience

• 12+ years of hands-on SAP experience with strong focus on SD and LE modules.
• Expertise in Order-to-Cash (OTC), Pricing procedures, Billing (FI-SD integration), Delivery & Shipping, and Transportation execution.
• Strong knowledge of intercompany processes, third-party sales, consignment, returns, rebates, and credit management.
• Solid experience in Logistics Execution: inbound/outbound deliveries, warehouse/shipping integration, transportation planning.
• End-to-end implementation experience (at least 3 full life cycle projects).
• Experience working in offshore delivery model and managing cross-functional/cross-cultural teams.
• Good exposure to S/4HANA SD/LE simplifications and Fiori apps preferred.
• Knowledge of EDI/IDoc interfaces and integration with external logistics/transportation providers.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Nice to Have

• Industry experience in Manufacturing, Retail, or Oil & Gas.
• Exposure to SAP TM (Transportation Management) or SAP GTS (Global Trade Services).
• Basic ABAP debugging for issue resolution.

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or related field.
• SAP SD certification is a plus.
