Job Description – SAP Senior Consultant (MM)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SAP MM Senior Consultant (Contractor) to lead the functional implementation of SAP Materials Management within our organization. The role involves close collaboration with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external partners to ensure successful deployment, configuration, and optimization of SAP MM solutions aligned with business objectives.

Role & Responsibilities 1. SAP MM Implementation & Integration

• Lead end-to-end SAP MM implementation with integrations to MDG, PM, QM, EWM, FI/CO, JVA, PS, and HR.
• Manage data migration activities, including transition from ECC to S/4HANA.
• Strong hands-on experience with User Exits, Enhancements, BAPIs, BADIs, LSMW, and design of Reports and Forms.
• Experience with S/4HANA Data Migration Tools.
• Knowledge of SAP Fiori applications and deployment.
• Design and implement SAP interfaces with external systems and vice versa.
• Working knowledge of middleware solutions such as PI/PO (preferred).
• Strong understanding of SAP Authorizations and Access Controls.
• Ability to independently define test scenarios, execute Unit Testing, QA Testing, UAT, including negative test cases, and manage test scripts.
• Solid exposure to both technical and business process aspects of SAP MM.
• Experience in Flexible Workflow implementation in MM and EWM processes.

• Documentation
• Prepare comprehensive documentation for:
• Configured workflows and business processes
• Functional and user guides
• Develop functional specifications for custom developments and enhancements.
• Produce professional project documentation and reports.
• Project Management Support
• Support project planning activities, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Track progress and provide regular status updates.
• Ensure alignment with overall project goals and change management processes.
  

Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of SAP MM experience with 2–3 full lifecycle implementations.
• Strong experience in S/4HANA and SAP Fiori.
• Prior exposure to Oil & Gas industry and Middle East region is preferred.
• Familiarity with ABAP programming concepts.
• Strong hands-on experience in Test Planning and Test Management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for large data analysis.
• Excellent technical writing, documentation, and reporting skills.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple stakeholders.
