Role Overview

Capgemini is looking for an experienced SAP Technical Architect – BTP to lead the design and delivery of scalable, cloud-native solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP). The role involves defining integration strategies, extension architectures, and guiding clients through their digital transformation journey leveraging SAP cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect and design solutions on SAP BTP, including extensions, integrations, and data management
• Define clean core strategies and side-by-side extensions for SAP S/4HANA landscapes
• Lead development using SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, CAP, Kyma, Fiori, HANA Cloud)
• Design and implement API-based integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems
• Provide technical leadership in cloud migration and modernization programs
• Collaborate with presales teams on proposals, estimations, and solution architecture
• Conduct technical workshops, architecture governance, and client advisory sessions
• Ensure adherence to best practices, security, scalability, and performance standards
• Support delivery teams with architecture governance and issue resolution

Experience & Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of SAP technical consulting and architecture experience
• Deep expertise in SAP BTP services (Integration Suite, CAP, HANA Cloud, Fiori/UI5, Kyma)
• Strong experience with SAP integrations (CPI, APIs, middleware, event-driven architecture)
• Hands-on experience with S/4HANA technical architecture and extensions
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in programming languages (Java, JavaScript, Node.js)
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies
• Strong problem-solving and client-facing communication skills

Education & Certifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• SAP BTP or Integration Suite certifications preferred
• Certifications in cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) are a plus
