SAP Greenfield Test Manager – Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end testing strategy for the SAP Greenfield implementation across all phases, from planning through hypercare.
- Define the overall test approach, scope, test levels, entry/exit criteria, and quality governance for the program.
- Develop and manage the master test plan covering SIT, E2E, UAT support, regression, cutover, and post-go-live validation.
- Coordinate testing across SAP modules, integrated systems, third-party applications, legacy remediation, data migration, reporting, and interfaces.
- Establish test management processes, standards, templates, and governance aligned with program and PMO expectations.
- Oversee test scenario, test case, and test script design to ensure full business process coverage and traceability to requirements.
- Manage test resource planning, task allocation, offshore/onshore coordination, and tester productivity across workstreams.
- Drive defect management by setting triage processes, prioritization rules, escalation paths, and closure governance.
- Ensure test environment readiness, test data availability, and coordination with functional, technical, security, and infrastructure teams.
- Monitor progress of test design, execution, defect resolution, automation, and reporting against milestones.
- Provide regular status updates, dashboards, risk reports, and executive summaries to program leadership and steering committees.
- Identify testing risks, dependencies, and quality gaps early, and drive mitigation and recovery plans.
- Partner with business leads, SAP functional teams, system integrators, and vendors to ensure aligned testing outcomes.
- Govern test tool usage such as qTest, SAP ALM, Tosca, or other approved tools for planning, execution, defect tracking, and traceability.
- Oversee automation strategy for regression and repeatable business-critical scenarios where applicable.
- Validate readiness for each test phase and provide signoff recommendations based on agreed quality criteria.
- Support business users during UAT by coordinating defect resolution, clarifications, retesting, and status communication.
- Ensure cutover testing, mock conversions, production validation, and hypercare defect tracking are completed successfully.
- Drive lessons learned, continuous improvement, and test process optimization throughout the program lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with audit, control, security, and regulatory requirements relevant to SAP implementation testing.

- Maintain focus on quality, schedule adherence, risk reduction, and business readiness for go-live.
