SAT Tutor

True Learning Academy is a growing academic support organization dedicated exclusively to SAT preparation. While we help students achieve competitive score improvements, our philosophy emphasizes deep conceptual mastery, disciplined reasoning, and long-term intellectual growth over short-term test tricks.

We work with motivated high school students preparing for competitive college admissions.

Position Overview

We are seeking high-achieving SAT tutors who are passionate about helping students build genuine mastery of SAT content.

This is a part-time paid position focused exclusively on SAT preparation.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one SAT tutoring sessions (in-person and/or virtual)
• Teach SAT Math and/or Evidence-Based Reading & Writing at a conceptual level
• Develop structured study plans tailored to each student
• Track measurable score progress
• Maintain professionalism and clear communication

Qualifications

• Minimum SAT score of 1450+ required
• Minimum 730+ in the section you intend to tutor
• Strong conceptual understanding of SAT material
• Clear and confident communicator
• Reliable and professional

Prior tutoring experience preferred but not required.

Schedule & Commitment

• Weekday availability between 4:00 PM – 8:30 PM
• Saturday morning availability preferred
• 2–14 hours per week, depending on student load

Compensation

• Competitive hourly rate (based on section expertise and experience)
• Growth opportunities as student load increases

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 14 per week
