SAT English Teacher (Part-Time / Full-Time)Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SAT English Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching, knowledgeable in SAT Reading and Writing sections, and able to support students in improving both their test performance and academic confidence.

Responsibilities

• Teach SAT Reading and Writing / Grammar classes to middle and high school students
• Develop lesson plans aligned with College Board testing standards
• Prepare students with effective strategies for reading comprehension, grammar, and writing skills
• Track student progress and provide academic feedback
• Maintain a supportive, engaging, and professional classroom environment

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of experience teaching SAT English or related courses (ELA, ESL, or Test Prep)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field
• Strong communication skills and classroom presence
• Familiarity with SAT question types and scoring system preferred
• Teaching certification is a plus but not required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching in tutoring centers or private academies
• Ability to work with students of varying English proficiency levels
• Familiar with digital teaching platforms (Zoom, Google Classroom, etc.)

Job Type

• Part-time / Full-time (Flexible hours)
• Weekday evenings and/or weekends available

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $45.00 - $65.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 4 per week
