Job Summary
We are a premium brand seeking a Lead Assembly & Quality Specialist to take full ownership of our on-site sauna installations. Our products are precision-engineered in modular wood sections, and we are looking for a dedicated carpenter to act as the vital technical bridge between our manufacturing team and our clients. In this role, you will lead the assembly of our proprietary modular systems, ensuring every unit is installed to our exacting design specifications. You will serve as the primary onsite authority on product integrity, managing complex wood assembly details and performing high-level quality assurance refinements. This is an ideal position for a detail-oriented woodworker who values the consistency of building a world-class product and wants to work directly with manufacturers to refine assembly processes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead Modular Assembly: Manage the end-to-end assembly of modular wood sections on-site, ensuring all structural connections and interior/exterior finishes are executed perfectly.
- Technical Quality Control: Act as the final point of quality assurance. Perform precision wood adjustments and fixes to ensure the final product meets brand standards.
- Manufacturing Liaison: Serve as a direct feedback loop to our production team. You will identify assembly pain points and work closely with our manufacturers to iterate on wood design details that improve the ease of installation.
- Precision Problem Solving: Creatively solve for site-specific challenges, such as uneven flooring or spatial integration, ensuring the wood structure remains square and true.
- Professional Standards: Maintain an exceptionally clean, organized, and professional workspace that reflects the high-end nature of our brand.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Advanced Carpentry: High-level expertise in finish carpentry, trim work, or cabinetry. You must have a deep understanding of wood joinery and tolerances.
- Assembly Mindset: Proven experience with modular systems, high-end millwork, or furniture assembly. You treat every install with the precision of a workshop build rather than a rough-in.
- Technical Troubleshooting: The ability to look at a wood assembly, diagnose why a seam isn't flush or a door isn't hanging correctly, and execute a permanent professional fix.
- No Specialized Sauna Knowledge Required: We will train you on our specific product. We are looking for the best carpentry skills and a commitment to quality. This role does not involve electrical work or thermal settings.
- Professionalism & Reliability: Ability to manage projects independently, communicate effectively with our team, and maintain a pristine job site.
