CONTRACT DURATION:

Child Safeguarding:
Level 3: The role holder will have contact with children and/or young people either frequently (e.g. once a week or more) or intensively (e.g. four days in one month or more or overnight) because they work in country programs; or are visiting country programs; or because they are responsible for implementing the police checking/vetting process staff.
ROLE PURPOSE:
The post holder will be responsible for implementing the project education interventions and will be responsible for the technical, financial and administrative management of education activities implemented by Save the children (SC). The education officer will be responsible for ensuring that the project interventions contribute successfully towards the implementation of the annual plans. S/he will be responsible for building CLC capacity to manage the delivery of Accelerated Education Program, literacy Catch-up clubs and Language classes for unaccompanied and separated children and youth .

The SAWA bridge project aims to strengthen CLCs’ leadership, ownership, and sustainability by empowering staff to become community leaders and decision-makers. It will enhance CLCs’ capacity to sustain Safe School, ECCD, CuC, and pilot AEP services. Additionally, the project promotes social cohesion and inclusion between Egyptian and displaced children through psychosocial support, awareness, and community engagement to reduce discrimination and violence within CLCs.

Coordination: This position requires representation for SCI during the working groups and partners meetings
