SCADA Automation Unit Manager

We are looking for a SCADA Automation Unit Manager to join our Ankara-based team . The successful candidate will lead high-impact projects, manage advanced SCADA/RTU systems, and contribute to our company’s growth and sustainability goals .

General Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical & Electronics Engineering (mandatory)
• Minimum 7 years of experience in SCADA and industrial automation projects, including at least 5 years in a managerial/team lead role
• Advanced knowledge of Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell, or equivalent PLC/SCADA platforms
• Strong hands-on experience with Kepware OPC Server and OPC UA/DA protocols
• Proven experience in programming and commissioning RTU devices (Motorola, Aselsan, or equivalent)
• In-depth understanding of industrial communication protocols and cybersecurity standards
• Project experience in natural gas and/or water distribution sectors is an advantage
• Solid background in project management, budgeting, and contract processes
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
• Completed military service (for male candidates)
• Valid B-class driver’s license and active driving ability
• Based in Ankara , with no restriction on domestic or international travel

Job Description:

• Manage the design, installation, commissioning, and maintenance processes of SCADA/automation systems used in natural gas and water distribution infrastructure
• Ensure integration and optimization of SCADA platforms such as WinCC, Wonderware, Ignition , etc.
• Implement and manage Kepware OPC Server and OPC UA/DA integrations
• Coordinate planning and operation of PLC, RTU, and industrial communication infrastructures (Modbus, DNP, Ethernet/IP, etc.)
• Oversee programming, configuration, and commissioning of RTUs (Motorola, Aselsan, etc.)
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data integrity, and industrial network security standards
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources , and coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers
• Lead, mentor, and develop the technical team, conduct performance evaluations, and prepare training plans
