Requirements:
- ·Able to commission PLCs to perform marshaling and paneling using standard procedures, and practices with accuracy and attention to detail.
- SCADA Expertise: Experience in designing, deploying and maintaining industrial SCADA systems. Experience with AVEVA/Wonderware is highly preferred.
- PLC & Industrial Hardware: Hands-on experience troubleshooting and integrating PLCs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, etc.) and industrial equipment/instrumentation.
- Migration & Database: Hands-on experience with SCADA system migrations (legacy to modern) and database migration/management (SQL/MySQL, Historian, PI etc).
- Networking: Strong industrial networking and Industrial Communication protocols knowledge (TCP/IP, Modbus, OPC UA/DA, switches, firewalls).
- Field Work: Ability to travel to client sites for commissioning, troubleshooting and direct client support
- Ability to actively participate in team development and team-oriented processes and motivate others to do the same.
- Experience in automating processes is preferred. The ability to read and create P&IDs is required to define control architecture, philosophy, and logical criteria.
- Two years’ experience in PLC and SCADA at the design level is required.
- Rockwell Automation Allen Bradley PLC’s using RS Logix 5000/500/5, Studio, Factory Talk for Automation, Controls, and System Integration.
- Good understanding of PLC communication protocols such as PROFINET, PROFIBUS, DNP3, Modbus, Modbus TCP/IP, and Ethernet/IP
- Having knowledge of RTU or telecommunication system is an advantage
- Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronics / Control System Engineering from PEC PEC-recognized university.
- Previous working experience in Oil & gas, Smart Cities, Petrochemicals, food and beverage, fertilizers, etc.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to startup and debug Logical systems and an understanding of optimization techniques is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Implementation of SCADA systems. Review and check the PLC/SCADA software programs, logic, operation & functionality. Including HMI Development and Historian configuration.
- HMI development using P&ID with equipment specification and routing technique.
- Demonstrate knowledge of current technology and how it can be effectively utilized on the project.
- Independently provide project support activities such as detailed design, design review, implementation, program changes, testing/debugging, troubleshooting, and project management.
- Update functional specifications for automation lead review/approval, and troubleshoot the system.
- Team personality, leadership skills, excellent presentation communication and writing skills is a plus. Instrumentation experience is a plus.
- Develop models for system-level control algorithms and functionality that provide superior performance, and enhance reliability and diagnostics.
- Collaborate with Project management and system integration teams. Drive project execution and achieve project milestones.
- Prepare development and customer documentation and prepare efficiently the SCADA-related project documentation.
- Help customers over the phone and via remote access. Perform site surveys and attend customer sites to better identify and resolve their issue(s).
- Perform root cause analysis to determine the source of reoccurring issues
- Perform onsite assessments and gap analysis of customer manufacturing systems, network infrastructure, and process flow
